Who we are:
We’re Sustainable Talent — a specialist recruitment business operating in the renewable energy sector. We work in a relationship-first way with both clients and candidates and are now looking to hire an experienced or commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to run a full 360 desk.
This role suits someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, taking ownership of their desk, and developing clients and candidates over time — not quick wins or short-term moves.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, owning both candidates and clients:
- Developing new client relationships and growing existing accounts
- Managing job spec calls, candidate delivery, interviews, offers, and aftercare
- Proactively sourcing candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
- Providing a consultative service to clients and candidates
- Managing your desk commercially with clear billing expectations
- Keeping ATS records accurate and compliant
What we’re looking for:
We’re open on background, but not on mindset or CV patterns.
Option 1 – Recruitment experience
- Previous experience running a 360 recruitment desk
- Experience with no more than 1–2 recruitment companies
- Comfortable with business development and account management
Candidates who have worked at multiple agencies in short periods will not be considered.
Option 2 – No recruitment experience
- Strong sales background (ideally B2B)
- 2+ years in one sales role showing stability and progression
- Evidence of relationship-building rather than transactional selling
CVs with frequent job moves or short stints will not be considered.

Working pattern:
This is an office-based role (1 day per week WFH).
