Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
Bank reconciliations
Business Credit Cards/Charge Cards input charges and collate receipts.
London Congestion Charge, Dart Charge, Tyne Tunnel, Mersey Flow
Parking Fines
Valuation Office Agency
Rental Contracts (run contracts etc)
Direct debits process (set up and collections)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and/or AAT qualified (level3)
- Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage 200
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of financial management principles and practices is a plus
- Experience with Sage200 & Zoho
- Must be able to work in a team in an open office environment
