Experienced Domestic Cleaner
Part-Time to Start | Opportunity to Become Full-Time | Self-Employed
We are a small, friendly and growing cleaning business looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team.
The position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity for more hours as the business grows, potentially leading to full-time work.
You will be cleaning clients’ homes to a high standard, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and is reliable and trustworthy.
Your Duties
- General domestic cleaning
- Creating a repour with clients
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces
- Emptying bins
- Deep cleaning when required
- Following individual client requirements
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleaning
- Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or concerns
What We’re Looking For
You must:
- Have previous cleaning experience
- Be able to provide references
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have reliable transport and be able to travel between clients
- Be happy to undergo a DBS check
- Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Take pride in providing a high standard of cleaning
- Be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Be friendly, respectful and professional when working in clients’ homes
- Be physically able to carry out normal cleaning duties
Hours & Pay
This is a self-employed position.
The role will start with part-time hours, with the opportunity to take on more work as our client base grows. Ideally, we are looking for someone who would be interested in progressing towards full-time hours in the future.
You will be paid an agreed hourly rate for the hours spent cleaning at clients’ properties.
Travel time is not paid, so you will need your own reliable transport to travel between jobs.
As this is a self-employed position, you will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
