As the Group continues to grow, we are looking to recruit a HR & Payroll Coordinator (German Speaking) to join our HR team at our Livingston headquarters.

Conversational German is essential, as you'll work with colleagues across our European businesses and support a range of HR and payroll activities.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of HR and working closely with our HR Business Partners, you will play an important role in supporting HR operations and payroll coordination across the employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating monthly payroll inputs, including new starters, leavers, salary changes and contractual updates.
- Collecting, preparing and checking payroll information to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
- Liaising with Finance teams and payroll providers to support payroll processing.
- Maintaining payroll records, trackers and audit trails.
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, including the preparation of employment documentation.
- Maintaining accurate employee records, contracts and HR system data.
- Coordinating recruitment administration, including interview scheduling and candidate communications.
- Assisting with HR reporting, including headcount, absence and turnover data.
- Supporting HR projects, employee engagement initiatives and policy rollouts.
- Responding to routine HR and payroll queries from employees and managers.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider HR team.
What You'll Need to Bring
- Conversational German language skills and confidence communicating in both German and English.
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, support role or similar
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Confidence working with data and maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to prioritise work effectively and manage multiple tasks to deadline.
- A professional and discreet approach to handling confidential information.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
The following would be advantageous, but are not essential:
- Experience in HR administration, payroll administration or finance administration.
- Experience using HR, payroll or other business systems.
- An interest in pursuing a CIPD qualification.
- Experience working in an international or multi-site environment.
