Kitchen Assistant
Location: Damory Garage
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour (rate advertised applies to applicants aged 21 and over)
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Damory Garage. This role is focused on preparing our fresh food range, including sandwiches, salads, wraps and other grab-and-go food, helping us keep everything fresh, well presented and fully stocked throughout the day.
It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, takes pride in presentation and is happy working in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps and other grab-and-go food
- Bake off pastries, savouries and other bakery items
- Keep food displays well stocked, clean and appealing
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support with cleaning and organisation in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Help ensure our customers always have a great range of fresh food available
We’re Looking For
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over
- Someone reliable and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail, especially with food preparation and presentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided
- Flexible to work mornings, weekends and busy periods
