Looking for something different from a typical part-time job?
Dynamic Kitchen is growing our Manchester team and we're looking for friendly, reliable and confident people to train as Cooking Demonstrators.
You don't need to be a chef.
You don't need previous sales experience.
We'll teach you how to deliver our interactive Health & Nutrition Cooking Experiences, where you'll prepare a meal, demonstrate healthier cooking techniques and create an enjoyable experience for customers and their guests.
Once you've successfully completed your training and are approved to deliver shows independently, you'll receive:
£50 for every qualifying completed Cooking Show
Importantly, your £50 payment is for completing the Cooking Show — it does not depend on whether the customer decides to buy anything.
Your activity could look like:
1 completed show = £50
3 completed shows = £150
5 completed shows = £250
10 completed shows = £500
You can be offered Cooking Show opportunities through Dynamic Kitchen and we'll also teach you how to generate your own bookings, giving you more control over how active you want to be.
The number of Cooking Shows available is not guaranteed.
What Will You Actually Be Doing?
You'll visit customers and deliver a relaxed, interactive Cooking Experience.
A typical show involves:
- Meeting the host and their guests
- Preparing a fresh meal
- Demonstrating Saladmaster cookware
- Showing different ways of preparing everyday foods
- Talking customers through what you're doing
- Getting guests involved in the experience
- Serving and enjoying the finished meal
- Answering basic questions
- Creating a professional and memorable customer experience
A typical Cooking Show lasts approximately 2½–3 hours.
We'll train you before you're expected to deliver one independently.
You Don't Need Experience
We're not looking for professional chefs or experienced salespeople.
We're looking for people who are:

- Comfortable travelling to customer appointments around Manchester and Greater Manchester
You may have experience in retail, hospitality, events, customer service, food, sport, beauty, promotions or sales — but none of this is essential.
Your attitude matters more than your CV.
Full Training Provided
You'll join our Dynamic Kitchen Cooking Academy, where we'll teach you step by step.
Training includes:
- Saladmaster product knowledge
- Cooking techniques
- Food preparation
- How to deliver our Cooking Experience
- Presentation and communication skills
- Customer engagement
- How to organise and run a show
- How to generate your own Cooking Show bookings
- How to ask for recommendations and referrals
- Professional standards when visiting customers
Training is practical and hands-on.
You'll cook, practise presenting, watch experienced team members and gradually build up to running your own Cooking Experience.
We'll Help You Get Started
You don't need to arrive with a list of customers.
As you get started, suitable Cooking Show opportunities may be offered through Dynamic Kitchen.
You'll also learn how to generate additional shows yourself through:
- Friends and family
- Recommendations
- Referrals
- Previous colleagues
- Networking
- Community connections
- Your own marketing activity
This means you can gradually build your own activity rather than relying solely on company-provided appointments.

Cooking Demonstrating can also be the first step into a larger opportunity with Dynamic Kitchen.
Once you've gained experience and understand Saladmaster, you can choose to complete additional training to become a:
Saladmaster Consultant
This gives you the opportunity to learn the sales side of the business and become eligible for additional commission when customers choose to purchase, subject to the applicable training and agreement.
So you can choose whether you simply enjoy completing Cooking Shows or whether you'd like to develop further.

We don't believe you can properly understand this role from a traditional interview.
Applicants are instead invited to attend a Dynamic Kitchen Introduction & Training Session at our Manchester office.
You'll:
