We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food preparation surfaces are sanitised.
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen setting.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
