We have an opportunity for 2 drivers to join our Fylde Villager Team driving our four rural routes serving the villages of the Fylde Coast.

We are trying to provide the customers who use our Fylde Villager Network with the best possible service we can, whilst the rest are out the winning awards and changing route numbers left right and centre, we are quietly working away to give our customers the best bus service we can. This is only achievable by having the best people we can driving our buses. We have an excellent team of drivers and we want to keep those high standards up by employing people who also want to provide the best possible service to our customers. We have 26 duties each day which each encompass the whole variety of our routes and we aim to allow people to work a 4 day a week rota, that said the duties are long duties to allow this 4 day rota to be possible. Working a 4 day week allows drivers to be able to plan commitments and family time around their days off but also allows for those drivers who want to do some overtime to boost their wage.
Customer Service is key and that is the motto we work to!!! We aim to provide the best possible service we can and this is only done by our team of people. From the drivers who are customer facing, politely saying good morning, dropping the step for passengers and waiting for passengers to be seated before setting off. We try our hardest to keep to the timetable and provide a reliable service but unfortunately the current state of roadworks and diversions can make this challenging somewhat.
Weekend working is something we insist on, our customers require the buses to run at weekends and as such we need people who are willing to do their fair share of weekends on their rota system. We have a full 26 duties on a Saturday and 9 duties on a Sunday so if you just want to work Monday to Friday each week, this is not the job for you.
Breaks are taken at our dedicated break room in Poulton and drivers can sign on and off here if their duty allows it. If not we have a shuttle service from our Fleetwood Depot to get drivers where they need to be.You have a dedicated team of operations managers who are on hand to answer any issues you have or any queries that arise throughout the day. They are all ex drivers and they will be out there driving with you if they need to to ensure every bus operates each and every day (something you would think is a given wouldn't you)
You are paid weekly with your payslips available on an app, you get 32 days per year holiday entitlement, company pension enrollment, staff passes for travel throughout the county on various operators services and what we would like the think is a generally nice place to work.
