Victory Housing is looking for a compassionate, organised, and proactive Housing Move On Support Officer to join our growing team.
About the Role
- Support Service Users to transition successfully from supported accommodation into independent living.
- Manage a caseload of Service Users who are ready to move on and hold regular one-to-one meetings to review progress, set actions, and provide ongoing guidance and encouragement throughout their housing journey.
- Monitor and track Service User housing searches and move-on plans to ensure progress is being made and barriers are identified and addressed promptly.
- Assess Service Users’ housing options and identify suitable move-on pathways.
- Complete affordability and eligibility assessments to ensure accommodation options are realistic and sustainable.
- Support Service Users to maximise income and complete benefit and entitlement checks.
- Research and identify available grants, Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP), rent deposit schemes, and other financial assistance available to support move-on.
- Source and identify suitable accommodation opportunities in line with Service User needs and affordability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, housing teams, landlords, estate agents, and other external partners.
- Liaise directly with landlords and agents to negotiate and secure accommodation opportunities.
- Support Service Users with property searches, arranging viewings, tenancy sign-up processes, and moving arrangements.
- Maintain knowledge of local housing markets, housing pathways, welfare benefits, and tenancy sustainment options.
- Provide advice and guidance to Service Users to enable informed housing decisions and successful tenancy outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and monitoring information using internal systems.
- Work collaboratively with internal support teams to ensure coordinated move-on planning and positive outcomes.

- Are highly organised and able to manage multiple move-on cases simultaneously.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Can work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Are confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Are passionate about helping people access safe and sustainable housing.
