Job Role: Mobile Plant fitter
Location: Essex
Annual Earnings: £40,000 - £60,000 OTE
Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday - Substantial overtime available

Overview of Role
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Plant fitter to join a growing team covering the Essex area. This is a field-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and delivering first-class service on-site.
The Mobile Plant fitter will be carrying out repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and overhauls on a wide range of mobile plant machinery, from excavators and shovels to dumpers and telehandlers.
Key Responsibilities for the Mobile Plant fitter
- Carry out diagnostics, repairs and servicing on plant equipment
- Perform major overhauls and mechanical rebuilds where required
- Complete scheduled maintenance on-site or in the field
- Work independently using your own initiative to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records and service reports
Essential Requirements of the Mobile Plant fitter
- City & Guilds Level 2 in Plant Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- OR recent hands-on experience working as a Plant Fitter
- Solid mechanical knowledge across diesel, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Good problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic
