Contracts & Operations Manager
Domestic & Renewable Energy | Full-time | Permanent
Lead operational performance and drive the successful delivery of major energy contracts.
A growing and forward-thinking business is looking for an experienced Contracts & Operations Manager to take a leading role in the delivery of domestic and renewable energy contracts.
This is a key position with responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget, while maintaining consistently high standards of customer service.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, clients, subcontractors and internal teams, helping to drive operational efficiency, commercial performance and continued business growth.
The Role
You'll oversee the day-to-day delivery of multiple contracts, ensuring resources, programmes and priorities are managed effectively.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the operational delivery of domestic and renewable energy contracts
- Managing project programmes, resources and competing priorities
- Monitoring contract performance, costs, margins and profitability
- Reviewing subcontractor and supplier costs and supporting tender and variation processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and commercial performance
- Managing client, consultant, housing provider, resident and subcontractor relationships
- Representing the business at meetings, site visits and progress reviews
- Providing performance updates and supporting forecasting and resource planning
- Driving continuous improvement across operations
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience in contracts, operations or project management within domestic heating, gas, renewables or construction
- ACS qualifications and current Gas Safe Registration
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing contract performance
- Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident client-facing and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to improving processes and performance
- A full UK driving licence
