Pineapple Property Services is a growing property maintenance company based in Bournemouth. We look after a wide range of properties for landlords, letting agents, and homeowners — from decorating and repairs to full refurbishments.
We're expanding and looking for an experienced, hands-on tradesperson who can step straight in and handle the varied maintenance work we're sent — with decorating as the core of the role.
This is a genuine all-rounder position. Decorating is the biggest part of the work, but our clients rely on us to solve the full mix of property maintenance jobs. We need someone who can walk onto a job, work out what's needed, and get it done to a high standard with minimal supervision.
Day to day you'll be:
- Interior and exterior painting & decorating (the majority of the work)
- General repairs and reactive maintenance for landlords and letting agents
- Basic plumbing — taps, traps, silicone, isolating valves, simple leaks, toilets
- Basic carpentry & fixings — doors, locks, handles, skirting, shelving, flat-pack, minor joinery
- Basic tiling, patch plastering and making good ahead of decorating
- Refurbishments and property makeovers
- Working independently or alongside the team on larger jobs
Most work is local to Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch. As we grow there may be scope to take on work further afield (e.g. Southampton) for those who want it.
What We're Looking For
- **Proven decorating experience** (residential or commercial) with a high-quality finish
- **A practical problem-solver** who can handle general maintenance jobs unaided — confident across basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling and making good
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work — finishing right, not just clocking hours
- **Own tools** and professional presentation
- Own reliable van preferred (a company van may be available for the right person)
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, trustworthy, and customer-friendly
- Registered as self-employed (CIS registration an advantage — we can point you in the right direction)
