Build Something Different.
At Ecosystems Technologies, we're redefining how buildings are made.
From our manufacturing facility in Invergordon, we design and manufacture high-quality modular buildings using sustainable, home-grown Scottish timber. Our projects range from water infrastructure buildings and community hubs to bespoke commercial developments, all built with precision, innovation and pride.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for motivated Production Operatives to join our expanding manufacturing team.
Whether you already have experience in manufacturing, construction or joinery—or simply enjoy practical, hands-on work—we'll provide the training, support and opportunities to help you develop your skills and build a rewarding career.
-
About the Role
As a Production Operative, you'll play an important part in every stage of our manufacturing process, helping transform raw materials into high-quality modular buildings that are delivered across the UK.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll learn a wide range of manufacturing techniques and contribute to producing buildings that make a real difference to communities and businesses.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you could be preparing timber panels, the next assembling building components or supporting the final stages of manufacture before a project leaves our factory.
-
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support a wide variety of manufacturing activities, including:
- Manufacturing and preparing engineered timber building systems, including CLT, GLT and NLT components.
- Reading and working from production drawings and manufacturing information.
- Measuring, cutting, sanding and preparing timber materials.
- Installing insulation, internal linings, cladding and other building components.
- Assisting with the assembly of high-quality modular buildings.
- Safely operating a variety of hand and power tools.
- Preparing materials to ensure the smooth flow of production.
- Loading and unloading deliveries and finished products safely.
- Maintaining clean, organised and safe working areas.
- Completing quality assurance checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Supporting occasional site installations and transport preparation when required.
- Working safely at all times and helping maintain our positive health and safety culture.
-
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who enjoy practical work, have a positive attitude and take pride in producing quality workmanship.
Essential
- Experience within a manufacturing, construction or workshop environment.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Good practical skills and attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience within timber frame, joinery or modular construction.
- Experience installing cladding or insulation.
- Forklift licence (although training can be provided).
- Experience interpreting manufacturing or technical drawings.
Don't worry if you don't meet every requirement, we're much more interested in finding people with the right attitude, commitment and willingness to learn.
-
