HR Administrator Apprentice – Start Your Career in HR or L&D
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated
HR Administrator Apprentice to join our busy and professional HR Team of five. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting out in their career who is passionate about people, organisation, and learning how HR works within a fast‑paced business environment.
As an apprentice, you will be supported to enrol onto a
Level 1 or Level 2 HR or Learning and Development qualification or a
Business Administration course through a recognised training provider. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across all areas of HR while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
About the Role
This entry‑level role is perfect for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to learn. You will support the HR team in delivering an efficient and professional service to the business. You’ll help maintain employee records, assist with recruitment activities, support onboarding, and play a key part in the smooth running of our day‑to‑day HR operations.
Full training will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to grow your skills, confidence, and career within HR.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide administrative support across all HR functions

HR inbox management

Learning & development administration

Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems

Support recruitment activities, including posting job adverts and arranging interviews

Assist with processing joiners and leavers

Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, and forms

Support the coordination of training and development activities

Handle general HR queries and direct employees to the right support

Reporting and compliance support

Work closely with the HR team to deliver efficient and professional service
What We’re Looking For-

Strong organisation and attention to detail

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work well within a team and manage your own workload

Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A genuine interest in HR or business administration

Eligibility to enrol on a Level 1, 2 or Level 3 HR or Business Administration course

Eligibility to work in the UK
No previous HR experience is required. Training and mentoring will be provided throughout.
