Apex Maintenance is looking for reliable, honest and hardworking self-employed Multi-Trade Operatives to join our growing team.
We have a high volume of work available every week, meaning the right tradespeople can stay busy on a consistent, long-term basis. Most of our projects involve preparing rental properties for new tenants, so we’re looking for people who take pride in producing a high-quality finish and can work efficiently.
Pay
- £150–£225 per day (depending on experience and client budget)
- Alternatively, payment can be agreed per job
- Ongoing work available for the right people
You should be confident in at least 80% of the following:
- Tiling
- Regrouting
- Silicone removal & re-sealing
- Flooring (carpet, laminate & lino)
- Painting & decorating
- Patch painting
- Plastering & repairs
- General handyman works
- Minor electrical works
- Minor plumbing works
- Replacing taps and sanitary fittings
- Kitchen cabinet repairs/replacements
- Installing internal doors
- Repairing chipped doors, walls and general cosmetic damage
- Basic carpentry and finishing works
Typical Work Includes
The majority of our jobs are void property refurbishments and end-of-tenancy works, including:
- Preparing properties for new tenants
- General repairs and maintenance
- Cosmetic refurbishments
- Snagging
- Insurance and reactive maintenance works
Essential Requirements
- Own van or suitable vehicle
- Own tools
- Public Liability Insurance
- Previous experience in multi-trade/property maintenance
- References available upon request
- Photos or portfolio of previous work
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Payment Terms
Payment is made within 7 days of successful completion of works, following inspection and client approval.
