Skea Egg Farms Ltd is a significant player in the agri-food sector supplying eggs to major retailers in Northern Ireland and mainland UK. The Company would like to recruit for the following position:
CLEANING OPERATIVE FULL-TIME.
POSITION PURPOSE:
We require a reliable, hardworking and competent individual to join our evening cleaning team. In this role, you will be required to undertake industrial cleaning tasks which will include manual cleaning and chemical handling.
You will be required to ensure that cleaning activities are carried out to a high standard and there is optimum cleanliness to facilitate the processing of safe, legal and quality goods.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 4.30pm – 11.30pm. Also One Saturday every three weeks 4.00pm - 7.00pm on a rotational basis.
This is not a standard cleaning role and would not suit someone who is only used to domestic cleaning and isn't able to manage some heavy lifting.
Due to the machinery and chemicals required for this role it would not be suitable for any individuals under 18 years old.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Carry out cleaning duties to agreed cleaning standards.
· Handling and dispensing cleaning chemicals
· Completing cleaning records to comply with hygiene requirements.
· Adhere to Food Hygiene procedures and practices.
· Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.
· Able to work on your own or as part of a team.
