Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy dining & bar establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food preparation and safety standards. The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant & bar staff
- Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor staff performance to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant & bar environment, including the kitchen and dining areas.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Enforce health and safety regulations across all areas of operation, including food safety protocols.
- Support training programmes for new staff members to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication skills to liaise with staff and guests professionally.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices including serving, barista skills, and general restaurant management.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly whilst maintaining high service standards.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail and teamwork.
