Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venue Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Cafe - Wine bar. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all activities, delivering exceptional guest services, and maintaining the venue's reputation for excellence. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of venue operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Oversee event planning and coordination, liaising with clients to meet their requirements and expectations.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of guest service and professionalism.
- Ensure the venue complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly to uphold excellent customer satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to facilitate smooth event execution.
- Monitor financial performance related to venue operations, including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and overall presentation of the venue at all times.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote the venue’s services and maximise utilisation.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the hospitality or events industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding guest services.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to venue management.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak event periods as required.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
- Previous experience in hospitality management or event coordination is highly desirable.
