Legacy AV Limited is a growing professional Audio Visual installation company providing AV solutions to clients across the UK.
Originally established in the South West, we have expanded our engineering coverage nationwide and deliver projects ranging from commercial AV installations through to large-format displays, projection, professional audio systems and LED video walls.
We are continuing to grow and are now looking for an experienced LED Wall Installer / AV Installation Engineer to join our team.
The Role
We are looking for a practical, technically minded engineer with experience installing and commissioning LED video wall systems.
The successful candidate will be involved in projects from installation through to final commissioning, working both independently and alongside other members of our engineering team.
Projects will vary in size and complexity and will involve travel to customer sites throughout the UK.
Your work will include:
- Installation of indoor and outdoor LED video wall systems
- Assembly and installation of LED cabinets and modules
- Installation and alignment of LED wall mounting structures and frames
- Accurate levelling and alignment of LED displays
- Power and data cabling between LED cabinets
- Installation of processors, controllers and associated AV equipment
- Configuration and commissioning of LED video walls
- Fault finding and replacement of LED modules, receiving cards, power supplies and associated components
- Testing completed installations before handover
- Reading installation drawings, schematics and system designs
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and other trades on site
- Carrying out general AV installation work where required
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and keeping installation areas clean and professional
- Providing basic customer demonstrations and system handovers
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you will already have experience installing professional LED video wall systems.
Experience with some of the following would be particularly beneficial:
- LED video wall installation
- Fine-pitch LED displays
- LED processors and controllers
- NovaStar systems
- Brompton Technology
- Colorlight
- Video processing and signal distribution
- HDMI, SDI and HDBaseT systems
- AV over IP
- Commercial display installation
- Structural mounting systems
- Professional AV installation
You should also:
- Be comfortable using hand and power tools
- Have a good understanding of safe installation practices
- Have excellent attention to detail, particularly when aligning LED cabinets
- Be confident fault-finding technical problems
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Have a professional attitude when working at customer premises
- Be reliable, organised and able to manage your own workload
- Be willing to travel throughout the UK
- Be willing to stay away from home when projects require it
- Hold a full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
The following would be advantageous, although not essential for the right candidate:
- ECS / CSCS card
- IPAF
- PASMA
- Asbestos Awareness
- Working at Height training
- Manufacturer-specific LED training
- Electrical or electronics qualifications
- Previous commercial AV installation experience

Working Hours
Standard working hours are approximately 40, Monday to Friday.
Due to the nature of AV installation work, some projects may require early starts, evening work, overnight stays or occasional weekend work. Any additional working arrangements will be agreed in advance and compensated in accordance with company policy.
