Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot beverages - speciality coffee, teas and hot chocolate
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the POS system
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area
- Follow recipes and guidelines for beverage preparation to maintain consistency
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and measuring ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to prepare a variety of beverages according to recipes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
