Job Description:
A1 Equipment is a well-established company specialising in commercial kitchen and catering equipment and supplies. We offer a wide range of brands and product categories, serving customers from independent restaurants, to large stadiums and national chains.
We are recruiting a warehouse team member to join us on a zero hour contract in Hemel Hempstead. We are looking for upbeat and easy going candidates to join the team, full training will be provided on site.
The main duties will include handling all aspects of goods in / out. You will be required to rotate stock, replenish shelves, and other general warehouse tasks such as picking and packing orders, as well as end-of-day clean up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking /Packing
- Scanning and sorting goods
- Stacking boxes onto pallets and shrink wrapping
- General Housekeeping
- Follow/adhere to Safe working practices and Site Health & Safety
- Restocking & rotation of goods on the warehouse shelves
- Load and unload delivery truck/containers with goods.
- Other duties as required
Who We’re Looking For:
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Have a good level of reading and speaking English
- Be able to start immediately
- A forklift license is not essential but is an advantage
- Have a basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements
