Senior Support Worker
Salary: £13.71 per hour
Working Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
Location: Gloucester
We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our team in and around Gloucester.
We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, mental health, and challenging behaviours in residential, supported living and outreach settings. Our dedicated team work closely with those we support to deliver person-centred care and to empower everyone to reach their goals and fulfil their aspirations.

The Senior Support Worker Role
As a Senior Support Worker your role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service.
The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.
The Ideal Candidate
-
Supporting adults with learning disabilities.

Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.

Able to motivate and manage a team.

Full UK Driving Licence

Level 3 in health and social care , or willingness to undertake

Previous use of electronic support plan/ record systems ( ideally nourish)
