Due to continued growth within the North and South Lanarkshire we now currently have a number of full time and part time vacancies within our Team for enthusiastic individuals to provide care at home support to older people in their own home. You don't need to be experienced as full training will be given but you must be keen to make a difference to the lives of the people you care for.
Shifts are suitable for Drivers in Lanark/Carluke area.
- Flexible rota - full or part time hours.
- Mileage & Training paid.
- Paid Annual Leave - 5.6 weeks pro-rata.
- Uniforms supplied.
- PPE supplied.
- Company Pension.
- 2 weeks rolling rota available
- Mileage paid at 30p per mile
- Additional working days paid at overtime rate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in the community
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands
- Help clients maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Document client progress and report any concerns or changes in condition to the supervisor
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
