Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairstyling and beauty services, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves providing a wide range of hair treatments, styling, and specialised services Such as hair extensions (if qualified). The successful applicant will also have strong communication skills, a flair for upselling products and services, and experience in store management or mentoring roles. A professional attitude and dedication to ongoing learning are essential to thrive in this dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments
- Offer excellent customer service by understanding client needs and advising on suitable treatments and products
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with store management tasks, including stock organisation and maintaining salon cleanliness
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and maximise revenue
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism at all times
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barbering professional with a strong portfolio of work. level 3 ideally
- Demonstrated ability in store management or supervisory roles within a salon environment is advantageous
- Skilled in customer service with excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients
- Experience in offering specialised beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable
- Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a positive team environment
- Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote retail sales effectively
