Pressure Control Equipment Technician
WellGear are looking for a suitable candidate to join their fast-growing and dynamic business. The successful candidate will perform a vital role in the growth of a motivated close-knit team.
Role:
The successful candidates’ main role will be maintaining Treating Iron & Pressure Control Equipment
This includes but is not limited to:
· Servicing/Inspection of Treating Iron including Plug Valves, Swivels, adaptors etc.
· Servicing of Surface BOP’s, Control Units and Hoses.
· Servicing Gate Valves, Chokes and Choke Manifolds
· Servicing Risers and Crossovers
· Pressure testing above items
· Completing check sheets and inspection reports
· Monitoring Stock levels of spare parts and reporting shortage
· Assisting Yard Crew during busy times with various yard duties.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. The following training is desired but not essential as full training will be offered
· Forklift Training
· UTM (Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement) NDT Inspection
