Double Doodles Dog Care is looking for a reliable and confident Part-Time Dog Transport Driver to join our team.
This position is Thursday and Friday, with a morning shift from 7:00am to 10:00am and an afternoon shift from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Finish times can vary depending on traffic. This is an immediate start.
The role involves collecting dogs from our customers' homes in the morning and transporting them safely to our daycare facility. In the afternoon, you will return the dogs safely home following their daycare session.
Applicants must:
- Be confident handling dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Be a confident and responsible driver.
- Hold a full, clean manual driving licence.
- Be over 25 years of age due to our vehicle insurance requirements.
- Have their own transport to travel to Double Doodles Dog Care, as there are no public transport links to our location.
If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange an interview. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to attend a trial shift, giving you the opportunity to meet the team and gain a realistic understanding of the role.
Required Skills and Experience
Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. However, you must:
- Be confident working with groups of dogs, including larger breeds.
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills when interacting with our customers.
- Be a competent, safe and reliable driver.
References are essential.
A current DBS certificate is desirable but not essential. If you do not already have one, we will arrange this as part of the recruitment process.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
