Due to an internal promotion, we have a 12 month FTC available for a Risk and Controls Specialist to join MotoNovo Finance; we're not looking for someone who simply follows the process. We're looking for someone who asks why.

What will your day look like?
As a Risk & Control Specialist, you'll be a trusted partner to the business, helping us identify, assess and manage non-financial risks while strengthening the control environment across MotoNovo Finance.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the first and second lines of defence, senior leaders and subject matter experts, providing constructive challenge, practical guidance and independent thinking.
One day you might be investigating a risk event, identifying root causes and ensuring robust actions are in place, the next, you'll be facilitating risk workshops, presenting insights at governance forums, or challenging stakeholders on how risks and issues are being managed.
This is a role for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of issues, connecting the dots and influencing positive outcomes.

What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with:
Experience within Risk, Controls, Compliance or a similar governance-focused role
A strong Financial Services background (essential)
Experience working with risk frameworks, controls, governance and regulatory requirements (Consumer Duty)
Confidence presenting to senior leaders, committees and risk forums
Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple business areas
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Motor Finance experience would be highly advantageous
