Alloyed is seeking a motivated individual to join its energetic, growing team as an Additive Manufacturing Technician, where your main responsibility will be to produce and process a variety of high-performance metal parts.
You will work closely with engineers and technicians, ensuring that the work is carried out according to schedule and that technical challenges are quickly tackled.
You will be based at our Abingdon facility. Training will be provided where required.
Normal working hours are 1.30pm - 10.00pm
Operating metal additive manufacturing equipment.
Operating post-processing machinery, such as heat treatment equipment and wire-EDMs.
Communicating with production management and engineers to understand their needs, scheduling and performing work accordingly.
Participating in the development and improvement of the company’s in-house capabilities.
Maintaining good health and safety practices.
Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Organised and able to work independently, but also to collaborate with a diverse, fast-moving team.
Experience working in a precision engineering environment.
High level of attention to detail.
