*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to while providing exceptional service.
*Duties*
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity every hour.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
- Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on-site.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and reassure staff and visitors.
*Skills*
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to remain calm in emergencies.
- Experience with CCTV systems and other security technology is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
