About the Role
We are a growing UK-based distribution company delivering close to 1,000 products to around 10,000 delivery points across the country, operating through a 3PL warehouse partner. We're looking for a hands-on Logistics Manager to own our end-to-end logistics operation — from route planning and 3PL/transport coordination to fleet management, returns, and invoicing/margin control.
You'll lead a Logistics Assistant, manage relationships with our 3PL warehouse and transport partners, and be the decision-maker for exceptions, approvals, and process performance.
What You'll Do
● Own route planning and dispatch rules; set SLAs and ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery across all regions
● Manage the relationship and performance of our 3PL warehouse and transport partners; resolve claims and escalations
● Set and audit loading, palletising, and warehouse control standards
● Oversee fleet maintenance planning and driver scheduling; act as decision-maker for breakdowns/incidents
● Set margin policy and approve orders below target pricing thresholds
● Manage the end-to-end returns process and coordination with Credit Control
● Track and report KPIs (on-time-in-full delivery, returns rate, claim resolution time, stock accuracy) to senior management
● Lead, coach, and manage the performance of the Logistics Assistant
● Act as the cross-functional point of contact for Sales, Finance, and Credit Control
What We're Looking For
● Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
● 5+ years' experience in distribution or FMCG logistics, including 2+ years in a management/team lead role
● Experience managing a 3PL warehouse relationship and a high-volume, multi-point delivery network (10,000+ delivery points is a plus)
● Strong working knowledge of WMS/TMS, ERP systems, and route optimisation tools; advanced Excel/reporting skills
● Professional written and spoken English & Turkish
● Right to work in the UK; familiarity with UK fleet/driver regulations (Driver's Hours, DVSA) is an advantage
What We Offer
● Competitive salary based on experience
● Ownership of a critical, high-impact function in a fast-growing distribution business
● A small, close-knit team where your decisions directly shape the operation
