Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex system faults and implement effective solutions
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and system assessments
- Carry out carpentry tasks related to the installation of fixtures or supports as needed
- Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or equipment to different sites
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during operations
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing, heating, or related mechanical trades is essential
- Demonstrable skills in welding, carpentry, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is advantageous but not mandatory
- Experience working on both residential and commercial projects preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Familiarity with basic maths for technical measurements and calculations
- Previous experience in troubleshooting complex systems using mechanical knowledge is desirable
