Just Homes Care ltd is a domiciliary care company that delivers domiciliary and supported living services. We are located within the Wakefield and surrounding areas. We specialise in supporting clients with learning disabilities ranging from young, to elderly adults. Our goal at Just Homes Care is to support our clients to build and develop independent living skills, and social skills. Therefore, forming close, trusting relationships is key. A large part of this includes, encouraging people we support to live active and fulfilling lives. Hobbies include swimming, music, baking, arts and crafts, karaoke, theatre trips, holidays, and more. All require high levels of support, including personal care, hoisting, and 1:1 or 2:1 assistance.
We run shifts for 24-hour care, including morning, afternoon and night shifts, and are planned around the needs and routines of the people we support, not just the rota. You’ll be joining a stable and values-led team committed to Kindness, Respect, Belonging, and Empowerment.

About You:
· A highly motivated individual
· Demonstrate an active interest in supporting and developing skills with clients
· Working as part of a team
· flexible availability - we will work with your availability
· Experience not essential
· Must be 18 or over
A full DBS is required for the position and can be applied for with support from Just Homes Care.
Your Day-to-Day
Your role will be varied and active. You’ll:
· Support people with their personal routines including personal care and meal preparation
· Encourage independence through life skills like budgeting, shopping and social outings
· Accompany clients to health appointments and trips out
· Contribute to household tasks and maintain a welcoming home environment
Experience, Qualifications & Training
Preferred but not essential:
· Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities
· Awareness of safeguarding practices
