Warehouse Assistant - Temporary
Wren & Berry Group is a drinks business based just north of York. We sell our own brands, Kin Vodka and Hedgerow Spirits & Liqueurs and, under Sloemotion Distillery, we produce private label goods for some of the UK’s most prestigious brands.
We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant on a temporary basis until Christmas, with the possibility of this becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.
In this role you will support our Warehouse Manager and other members of the team with the following:
· Preparing, picking and packing orders for despatch by courier or haulier.
· Assisting with preparation for shows and Christmas markets.
· Booking orders onto our computer system.
· Carrying out stocktakes on a regular basis.
· Following food safety guidelines and maintaining high levels of hygiene.
Adhering to Health and Safety guidelines
Supporting the team in maintaining a clean and organised workspace
You’ll need to be able to plan and prioritise your workload, as well as have the ability to work to deadlines and timescales. You’ll also have good numerical skills and strong attention to detail.
Previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial, but full training will be given.
A forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential.
We're in a remote, rural location so you will need your own transport.
£12.71 per hour. 37.5 hours per week
