EMR are currently seeking an experienced Groundworker with either a Dumper, Roller, or 360 Excavator ticket to join a civil engineering project in Chichester for a week of night works.
We are looking for reliable and hardworking operatives with a strong background in civils and infrastructure projects who can work safely and effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general groundworks and civils duties
- Excavation, reinstatement and finishing works
- Assisting with drainage and associated groundwork activities
- Safe operation of Dumper, Roller or 360 Excavator plant
- Working around live services and following site drawings
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Adhering to all site health & safety procedures
- Supporting site management and other operatives as required
Requirements
✔ Previous experience working as a Groundworker on civils or infrastructure projects
✔ Valid CSCS Card
✔ CPCS or NPORS Dumper, Roller or 360 Excavator Ticket
✔ Previous experience operating plant safely on site
✔ Full PPE
✔ Ability to work night shifts
✔ Strong work ethic, reliability and good communication skills
