Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Inspection Technician to join a busy automotive site. This role involves carrying out detailed vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and preparation tasks to ensure vehicles meet required standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ramp inspections to assess vehicle condition and identify faults
- Perform road tests to evaluate vehicle performance and handling
- Carry out basic diagnostics using appropriate tools and equipment
- Remove and refit vehicle components such as trims and plastics as required
- Accurately report findings and complete inspection documentation
- Work efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar automotive role (inspection, technician, or prep work)
- Ability to carry out road tests confidently
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools is preferred
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
