Summary
Painhas Energy Ltd are looking for Overhead Linesmen of all grades to join our team in a field-based role. As a key member of an Overhead Line (OHL) team, you will work alongside colleagues to deliver a variety of transmission and distribution projects involving the construction, maintenance and replacement of overhead line networks.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
- Working as a core part of an Overhead Line team.
- Constructing, maintaining, refurbishing and replacing overhead line networks up to 400kV.
- Carrying out all work in accordance with client standards, policies and procedures.
- Leading by example on site and safely undertaking works as directed.
- Participating in the risk assessment process before starting work, continually reviewing site conditions and reporting any changes to your supervisor.
- Working safely at all times in line with Company and statutory safety requirements.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in accordance with Company procedures and transmission safety rules.
- Installing and constructing overhead HV electrical networks to relevant construction standards and consistently high-quality expectations.
- Mentoring and supporting the development of other team members.
- Maintaining and developing your own competence in line with legislative and customer requirements.
- Contributing as part of a team to ensure the safe, effective and efficient delivery of Painhas Energy operations.
- Following all issued SHEQ policies, safety instructions, method statements and risk assessments.
- Maintaining site safety and reporting any SHEQ concerns to your manager or the SHEQ team.
- Delivering all work safely, efficiently and to consistently high quality standards.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience working on overhead line networks.
- Relevant OHL competencies (distribution and/or transmission).
- Ability to work at height and in outdoor environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
- SPEN authorisations (where applicable).
Desirable:
- BESC and Persons authorisations.
- First Aid certification.
- CSCS/EUSR card.
- NPORS Card
Pay: £60,000.00-£90,000.00 per hour
