About the role
We are looking for more team members to join the fantastic bunch of people making and delivering our Naturaw Dog Food here at Thorp Arch near Wetherby. Full-time role available (part-time hours can be discussed) ; we are a small family company, so a positive attitude with a willingness to help out in many aspects of the business is really important to us.
You'll be working in our packaging and distribution departments turning high quality fresh raw British meat and other whole food ingredients into minced raw dog food. You’ll have a passion for producing high-quality products in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
THE ROLE WILL ALSO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Food production operative work
- Distribution picking/packing work in warehouse.
- Pick/Pack orders in walk in freezer.
About you
- Physical fitness - The role involves manual work
- Comfortable handling raw meat
- Manual dexterity and the ability to work quickly
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Willingness to clean down equipment/machinery
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic
- Keen attention to detail
- Flexible attitude and a willingness to learn
- Team player
- Driving licence and own transport (able to commute to Wetherby, LS23 7EG)
- A love of dogs, and want to be part of a growing team - As we grow, so do you.
- Right to work in the UK
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Experience of e-commerce, warehouse picking/packing/despatch procedures.
- Experience in food production or similar environment is advantageous.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
- Any experience of hygiene, cleaning & record keeping procedures.
- Experience/training on warehouse equipment, pallet trucks and stackers

Standard shift pattern 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
