The Role
Our Housekeeper role will see you supporting the team by ensuring that the Homes are kept hygienically clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
The work can be intense and demanding and you will require compassion, patience and understanding, but the rewards and job satisfaction can be high.
You will be part of a happy, welcoming team all of whom contribute to the positive and friendly atmosphere of our Homes, ensuring our Residents bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms and all communal areas around the Homes are thoroughly clean.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with some experience of working within a Care home environment however full training will be given if we think you demonstrate the right qualities at interview.
An understanding of Health Safety, Infection Control and COSHH would be an advantage.
All posts are subject to a clear enhanced criminal record check and satisfactory references.
Although it is no longer a legal requirement for staff working within CQC regulated Care Homes for Older Adult Care in England to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated, in the best interests of our staff and residents, we have decided to keep it a mandatory requirement to work for our organisation. Therefore, we will need proof of your COVID Vaccination pass.
You must have current valid right to work in the UK.

The Person
You should be able and willing to follow instructions and detailed guidelines and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
It is essential that you can work within a team and also work unsupervised as needed.
If you can show thoroughness and attention to detail that would be an advantage.
If you have a basic understanding of using cleaning chemicals and handling and dealing with infection control situations within a challenging environment we would also welcome your application.
