Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant and Bar Staff to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and take orders accurately at both the restaurant and bar areas
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and presentation of food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including tables, bar counters, and service stations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage billing procedures
- Assist in setting up tables, preparing the bar area, and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth service during busy periods
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a personable attitude towards guests
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
