Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Tyre Technician to join our busy Vehicle Preparation Centre team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work efficiently. We fit a large volume of tyres every week across our extensive stock of vehicles, so we're looking for a motivated individual who can maintain high standards while keeping up with demand.
As part of our ongoing investment in the business, we are currently upgrading our preparation centre. This means you'll eventually be working in a modernised facility with brand-new equipment and improved working conditions, creating an exciting environment for the future.
The Role
As a Tyre Technician, your primary responsibility will be fitting, repairing and maintaining tyres across our sold and stock vehicles. You will also carry out four-wheel alignments using our state-of-the-art laser alignment equipment.
This is a dedicated tyre-fitting role focused on ensuring vehicles meet our preparation standards efficiently, safely, and professionally.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm
- Overtime opportunities may be available by agreement
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' tyre fitting experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Wheel alignment experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Fitting and balancing tyres
- Repairing punctures
- Conducting tyre inspections and assessments
- Performing four-wheel alignments using the latest laser alignment technology
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working area
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
