As a Web Developer and Customer Support Specialist at Code Monkey Studios, you will be the frontline team player for our clients, providing exceptional support and resolving technical issues efficiently. Your role will involve managing customer inquiries, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, and ensuring a seamless user experience. In addition, you will assist in creating and optimising workflows, handling various administrative tasks, contributing to content creation efforts, and supporting web development and design projects, particularly using WordPress.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support: Provide support to customers via phone, email, and chat. Address and resolve inquiries or issues related to our software and web products promptly and professionally.
Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, offering solutions and guidance to users. Document issues and escalate complex problems to the development team when necessary.
Web Development and Design: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of websites using WordPress and other web technologies. Implement website updates, enhancements, and customizations as needed.
Content Management: Manage website content updates, including text, images, and multimedia elements, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Multitasking: Manage multiple workloads effectively while maintaining a high standard of service. Prioritise tasks and adapt to changing demands.
Microsoft Applications: Utilize Microsoft programs (Office, bespoke utility programs, etc.) to manage documentation, create reports, and assist with various tasks and setups.
Organization: Maintain excellent organizational skills to manage and track customer interactions, issues, resolutions, and web development tasks efficiently.
Spreadsheets & Workflows: Create and manage spreadsheets to track data and workflows. Develop and optimize processes to improve efficiency.
Electronics: Leverage experience with electronics to assist with hardware-related inquiries or issues.
Content Creation: Contribute to content creation, including documentation, tutorials, marketing materials, and website content.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Web Development Skills: Experience with WordPress, including theme customization, plugin management, and website maintenance. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.
Website Design: Ability to design and implement aesthetically pleasing and functional web pages. Experience with web design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or similar is a plus.
