Job Summary
At Brian Currie Ltd, an authorised DAF Trucks dealer, we are looking for skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to join our Northampton team due to continued growth.
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, diagnostics, servicing and repairs on a range of DAF commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of HGVs.
- Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Shift Patterns
- Early 06:00 - 15:30 (Monday - Friday)
- Late 08:30 - 18:00 (Monday - Friday)
Requirements
- Qualified HGV Technician with relevant industry certifcations.
- Experience in HGV servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, dependable and postitive team player.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Full UK driving licence preferred
