Samba Soccer Schools is recruiting Lead Football Coaches across London ahead of the new academic year.
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable football coaches to inspire the next generation through Joga Bonito football.
We coach children aged 4–12 through high-energy, Brazilian-inspired sessions that develop confident, skilful and creative players in a fun and supportive environment.
Current Vacancies
- Hayes: Fridays, 6:00pm–8:00pm
- Finchley: Saturdays, 12:30pm–2:30pm
- Hounslow: Saturdays, 1:30pm–3:30pm
- Croxley: Sundays, 9:30am–11:30am
- Hemel Hempstead: Sundays, 2:30-4:30pm
- Brent: Sundays, 10:00am–12:00pm
- Lewisham: Sundays, 9:30am–12:30pm
Candidates can apply for one or multiple locations, depending on availability.
We also have additional coaching opportunities across our wider London network, so we'd still encourage strong candidates to apply if the above sessions don't suit your availability.
The Role
As a Lead Football Coach, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality football sessions to children aged 4–12.
Every Samba Soccer Schools session is built around three core principles:

Creativity & Confidence – Encouraging players to express themselves and play without fear.
Fun & Energy – Fast-paced sessions with music that keep children engaged and excited to learn.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging and well-structured football sessions
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for all players
- Demonstrate football techniques clearly and confidently
- Support player development across different age groups
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and your Venue Manager
- Follow safeguarding procedures and arrive prepared and on time
What We're Looking For
- FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate (Introduction to Football Coaching) or equivalent
- Experience coaching children aged 4–12
- Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one
- Strong football ability and confidence demonstrating skills
- Reliable and able to commit to the same session each week
- A genuine interest in helping young players develop
- Ability to travel easily to your chosen venue

Recruitment Process
Shortlisted candidates will complete a short telephone interview before being invited to an in-person practical assessment.
Successful candidates will then be matched to a suitable venue based on their location, availability and coaching experience.
