Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering as necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining professionalism and friendliness towards customers
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and cleaning procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience in meal preparation, especially grilling techniques, is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Previous experience in restaurant service or serving customers is advantageous
