Mughal Driving School Ltd is an established driving school based in Derby, providing professional driving instruction, flexible driving lessons, theory and practical test preparation, and ADI/PDI instructor training. As the business continues to develop, we are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support and improve the technology and digital systems used across our driving-school and instructor-training operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse IT systems and digital processes supporting learner bookings, lesson scheduling, instructor allocation and ADI/PDI training operations.
- Identify improvements to technology, IT tools and communication systems to enhance the efficiency and coordination of driving instruction and instructor-training services.
- Gather and document operational and system requirements from management and instructors and recommend suitable technology-based solutions.
- Analyse booking, learner, instructor and training-data workflows to improve information accuracy, accessibility and management reporting.
- Evaluate existing and proposed booking, scheduling and customer-management systems and recommend appropriate system integrations and process improvements.
- Support the implementation and testing of system changes to ensure solutions meet the operational requirements of the driving school.
- Liaise with internal teams and external technology providers to resolve system issues and improve the effective use of business systems.
- Monitor relevant technology, IT standards and system developments and recommend improvements that support business growth and service delivery.
Requirements
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of business systems, digital processes and technology-based solutions.
- Ability to analyse operational requirements and translate them into practical system improvements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with management, operational teams and external technology providers.
