Brynhelyg is a Residential/Dementia care home that provides high quality, person centered care for 23 residents. As a Health Care Worker you would be joining a team of dedicated Management, senior staff and care workers that provide a holistic approach to the care of our residents.
You will be expected to provide support that looks at the whole person. This includes personal care and support with mental health needs, physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.
The position requires a kind, caring, compassionate individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be required to complete daily records and feed back information to senior staff and management.
Experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given. The position will require a Level 2 QCF qualification; if you do not hold this, full support will be given to attain it via the work place. You will be required to pay for a D.B.S check and for Moving and Handling training before commencing employment.
The position is for 20 hours per week which includes weekends and bank holidays. The shift patterns are days/nights the hours of which are as follows:
Mornings: 8-3, 7-2
Afternoons: 3-9
Nights: 9-8
This is based on a weekly rota and there is flexibilty around shifts.
