We manage over 160+ properties, primarily in St Helens area with additional locations in Blackpool and North Wales. Our diverse portfolio includes residential lettings and a growing serviced accommodation division (Airbnb-style properties)
The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dynamic 'in house' Architect to join our team.
The successful candidate will bring visionary design ideas to life through innovative planning, detailed technical expertise, and seamless project execution. In this role, you will lead architectural projects from concept development through construction, ensuring designs are functional, sustainable, and aesthetically compelling.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive architectural conceptual and detailed design proposals using software.
- Create precise construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details to guide successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with Directors, contractors, and consultants through negotiation to align project goals with budget and timeline constraints.
- Oversee the integration of joinery and interior elements into overall design schemes, ensuring quality craftsmanship and material selection.
- Manage project workflows effectively using project management principles to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, verify adherence to design specifications, and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
- Assist in the selection of materials and finishes that align with project aesthetics and sustainability goals
- Ensure designs adhere to all relevant building codes, safety standards and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in architecture or construction-related roles with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse projects.
- Proficiency in industry standard architectural software
- Solid understanding of construction processes and joinery techniques to ensure feasible design implementation.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design ideas clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Recognised architectural qualification

Pay: £52,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
