Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while assisting with food preparation and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Duties
- Prepared and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth cafe operations.
- Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in cooking and food service is essential.
- A good understanding of food safety practices is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- A willingness to learn and help others in a fast-paced environment.
Hours
Thursday 12-6.30pm
Sunday 9-3.30pm

Pay: £12.71 per hour
