Home from Home Nursery on Grand Avenue in Worthing has been open for 10 years with up to 120 children attending each day. HfH is warm and friendly set in a large Victorian house with original features to include stained glass windows and high ceilings with cornicing. A large half acre garden wraps around the building with allotment, potting house, beach and forest areas. Upstairs we accommodate our under twos and downstairs is our 2-3 year old space. Our Preschool consists of 3-5 year old's in their own building spread over two floors. Forest school and Wild Beach is a key part of the Pre School daily routine and this role can take an active part in supporting this activity
Children enjoy lots of free-flow roaming and playing both indoors and out whatever the weather. Ratios of two children to every one staff member exist for our under twos which allows for regular trips to the seafront, train station and parks. The staff at Home from Home are part of an excellent Supervision and Appraisal programme that recognises progression and rewards dedication and commitment to our long term goals.
About the Role
We are looking for an Early Years Educator/Key person to join our team at Home from Home Nursery. We are looking for someone warm and friendly with experience working with children 0 -5 years of age. At Home from Home our staff are not only caring but motivated with a passion to learn, develop and train.
The post is part or full time, 3 to 5 days per week 30 - 40 hours per week.
Duties will include:
· working as a member of the team as a key person
· observing and tracking children’s development and leading Parent meetings
· A good understanding of the EYFS is required with excellent communication skills giving daily verbal feedback to families
· Passion and enthusiasm is definitely something we look for in our staff and someone who enjoys a positive outlook.

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare is preferred.
