About CCR Maintenance
CCR Maintenance provides commercial building cleaning, external cleaning, property maintenance and specialist access services throughout Wales and England.
We work on a wide range of commercial, industrial and construction sites, carrying out building cleaning, maintenance, restoration and exterior cleaning work.
We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking operatives to join our team. The role is initially temporary but could lead to permanent employment for the right person.
The Role
This is a practical, hands-on position involving commercial building cleaning and general maintenance work.
You will work as part of a team at different customer sites. Duties will vary depending on the project and training will be provided where required.
Operatives will normally start work at 6.30 am and finish at 2.30 pm. Applicants must be able to arrive on time for the early start.
Main Duties
- Commercial and industrial building cleaning
- External wall, cladding and façade cleaning
- Window cleaning
- Pressure washing of paving, walls and external areas
- General building and property maintenance
- Cleaning construction and refurbishment sites
- Preparing work areas and protecting surrounding surfaces
- Loading and unloading equipment, materials and vehicles
- Following job instructions, risk assessments and method statements
- Completing job sheets, checklists and site paperwork
- Taking photographs before, during and after work
- Keeping vehicles, equipment and working areas clean and organised
- Supporting supervisors and other operatives on site
- Following all health and safety procedures
Some work may involve ladders, access equipment or working at height. Appropriate training, equipment and supervision will be provided.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be able to start work at 6.30 am
- Have a positive and practical attitude
- Be physically capable of carrying out manual work
- Be comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Be able to follow instructions carefully
- Work well as part of a team
- Have good attention to detail
- Take pride in completing work to a high standard
- Behave professionally while working at customer sites
- Follow company health and safety procedures
Desirable Experience and Qualifications
The following would be a strong advantage:
- A valid CSCS Card
- Previous commercial cleaning experience
- Previous building maintenance or construction experience
- Experience using pressure washing equipment
- Experience working at height
- IPAF, PASMA or similar access qualifications
- A full UK driving licence
Applicants without all of the above qualifications may still be considered if they have the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
